While working with curls around the globe, and managing her own Curly Hair, Emily has discovered the passion and fine art of working with and embracing curls. Emily has been hairdressing for 18 years and specialising in curly hair for the last five. Emily provides her curly hair services out of her salon in Coolangatta.

Emily K can get you and / or your wedding party super styling for your occasion at her comfortable Kirra studio, or hit the road and style you on site. Step it up a notch by stepping in to BOB, a mobile salon experience can offer you, your wedding party and your guests an experience to remember.
Beauty On Board (BOB)
Bob is a vintage van which has been lovingly restored and retrofitted with high-end materials to ensure a truly opulent experience for his guests. The versatility of this unique, eco-modern mobile salon means beauty and hair, here or there, is a no-fuss, premium experience.
Meet Emily
Emily K is a highly qualified and internationally experienced hairdresser and make-up artist. New Zealand born and bred, Emily started hairdressing at the ripe age of 16, before spending most of her 20s traveling Europe. She relocated to Melbourne, and after working for many years in a large salon, on all types of hair, branched out to create her own business Emily K Hair. Emily K Hair is a curly hair salon based in Coolangatta on the Gold Coast.
Several years later, craving a more flexible lifestyle and one closer to nature, Emily found herself called to Byron Bay as a mobile freelancer and has since settled in Kirra, Coolangatta from where she operates her beautiful home-based salon. Otherwise Emily is on the road as a mobile hair and makeup artist or inside her eco modern mobile caravan BOB.
